De Hookipa Quad is ontworpen om de beste combinatie van snelheid, drive en draaivermogen te bieden. De Hookipa behoudt zijn snelheid in alle pure wave condities

De bottom shape heeft een single concave nose die overloopt in een dubbele concaaf middengedeelte en een vlakke release in de tail.  Dit creëert een rechtere scoop rocker lijn in het middendeel terwijl de curve in de rail behouden blijft. Het vlakke middengedeelte levert de snelheid en planeerkracht waar dit board in uitblinkt. De rails van de Hookipa starten zacht in de nose en eindigen met een scherpe tail. Hierdoor blijft de drive in de bottom turn behouden, ook in choppy condities.
